Coming from a musical family, Shatsky's roots are deeply embedded in Russia's rich cultural heritage. He first mastered the violin at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, followed by advanced studies in conducting under the guidance of legendary figures such as George Hurst, Iliana Musin, Alexander Alexeev, and Yuri Simonov in Great Britain and Russia.
In 2008, Shatsky assumed the roles of artistic director and chief conductor of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, significantly shaping the cultural landscape of one of Europe's youngest countries. His role as a cultural ambassador has been further solidified through collaborations with renowned ensembles worldwide, including the St. Petersburg Symphonic Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra, and the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra.
